Fried chicken at Rockwell & Sons

There’s more to fried chicken than the Colonel’s crispy strips and a dodgy Zinger. Fried chicken can be a thing of beauty that you don’t need to be drunk or hungover to enjoy.

Every Wednesday night Rockwell and Sons are serving up what might just be the best damned fried fowl in town. But you can’t chicken out and have to book ahead. $60 will get you the whole bird plus sides (ie enough for four to share, though you might have to toss a coin over who gets the beak).

The early diner gets the bird so pre-book-book to avoid disappointment.

WHEN: Every Wednesday, but book ahead by calling 8415 0700
WHERE: Rockwell & Sons, 288 Smith Street, Collingwood
