Located in northern Tasmania, the sparkling range is made in the traditional method with grapes from Tamar Valley, known for its true cool climate. Opening the Pirie Sparkling Vintage Rosé was a delight and was immediately taken with its boldness and the elegant salmon pink colour. The wines have lovely rose petal, strawberry and freshly baked bread aromas and its palate is creamy and yeasty packed with a fruit-driven complexity. This year alone it has picked up a slew of awards, including The Grapeworks Trophy for Best Sparkling 24 to 60 months Tirage at the 2022 Australian Sparkling Wine Show. This sparkling wine is a pale straw colour with aromas of crisp apples and citrus coming through. This sparkling works best with natural oysters to paired with richer fisher like baked ocean trout or yellowfin tuna.
