January 2021 is Melbourne’s Happiest Hour
Posted by Ross Battaglia
14. Jan, 2021
Let’s face it – 2020 was an absolute trainwreck and January 2021 has already emotionally felt like an eternity. During Melbourne’s extended lockdown last year, the thought of devouring a pub meal and getting on the tinnies with a group of mates, like the good old days, was enough to get me through. After such trying times, 30 Melbourne pubs and bars have opened their doors and are celebrating ‘Melbourne’s Happiest Hour’ every day this January.
Australian Venue Co. is making celebrations easier for Melburnians by taking 50% off all food and beverage bills from 5pm–6pm, right up to January 31. So, what better – and cost-effective – way to meet some friends or family and sink back a pint of pale and a parma.
Milk Bar checked out the Duke of Wellington and can confirm the happy hour transaction was simple. Here’s the process: enter the venue, check in via a QR code, directed to your table, use the QR code on the table to view the menu, select your drinks and food, discount applied at checkout.
So, the big question is, where can punters find Melbourne’s Happiest Hour this month? Take a look at the list below and book a table.
