Beer & Yoga at Whitehart Bar
Posted by Ross Battaglia
06. Nov, 2019
In the middle of the concrete jungle of the CBD stands Whitehart Bar, a quasi-outdoor double-storey container bar with food-truck eats on premises and an extensive drinks menu. Since opening, Whitehart has been a buzzing after-work drinks spot for suit-clad professionals and trendy creatives alike. Now, the bar invites patrons to join them for beer and Vinyasa.
On Sunday, 10 November, Whitehart will host a Beer & Yoga in the sunshine (check BOM for the weather forecast) at 12.30pm and 2.00pm. Yogis and beer-enthusiasts will practice their cobra and their downward dog with another 35 people. Included in the price is two pots ($20 ticket) or prints ($30 ticket) of Stone & Wood beer as well as a 60-minute vinyasa session, led by World Class instructor Nick Elisseos.
According to the folks at Whitehart, the road to a healthy life is paved with balance. The Beer & Yoga on the rooftop enables you and your mates to get tipsy and tone at the same time. Sip on some ice-cold Stone&Wood beer – either their gold-class Pacific Ale or their new Gatherer, a combination of watermelon, cucumber and mint brew – while you activate your core.
Say goodbye to the week of stress and tension and say hello to a frothy and a yoga mat – you won’t regret it!
