Sunday brunch is a Melbourne institution. It’s everyone’s favourite Sunday activity. Well, that or a good Sunday session. The emergence of bottomless brunches in Melbourne – where you can enjoy a delicious brunch dish while sipping on luscious cocktails – means we have the best of both worlds: brunch and drinks. When you’re eating carb-heavy meals and high-calorie cocktails – and trying to get your money’s worth out of the ‘bottomless’ part of your brunch, it can be easy to over indulge.

But fear not, because Sons of Mischief in Highett are now offering a healthy bottomless brunch on Sundays! For $60 you can get yourself a dish from a delicious selection of food options, tea or coffee, and bottomless drinks for two hours.

The food menu includes a great selection of vegetarian and vegan options such as the Superfood Breakfast salad filled with Moroccan spiced cauliflower, broccoli, lentils, sumac beetroot labneh and Haloumi. There’s also a couple of fabulous seafood dishes, including the flavour-packed sesame-crusted salmon fillet, served with soba noodles, shiitake master broth, salsa verde, pickled ginger and burnt lime. If you just want your classic smashed avo, you can have that too – it’s pimped with saganaki.

The drinks list includes a selection of beer and wine, and offers classic mimosas and espresso martinis, but if you’re looking to keep going down the healthier road, there are also a selection of alcoholic kombuchas by Bucha Brothers

For the perfect finish, choose a coffee by Niccolo or tea by Australian Tea Masters.

If you can’t make it to Sons of Mischief for their healthy Sunday brunches, they have a great menu every day of the week, featuring healthy options such as veggie nourish bowls and poached chicken salad. If you’re feeling a little more indulgent, they’ve got you covered with fried chicken tacos, buttermilk pancakes and Nutella milkshakes.
