Coin Laundry

If you’re hungry and you can spare some change, take yourself down to Coin Laundry and clean up (gastronomically speaking).

Good news spreads fast and after just six months you know a café’s doing well when you still have to line up to get in.

Tucked away off Williams Road, Coin Laundry is nestled around Armadale’s beautiful tree-lined streets. The charming interior of this funky, mood altering café’ matches the serene setting outside, with high ceilings, wooden tables, and herb plants lining its low window panes. It is very Sydney-esque, reminding us of café’s in Darlinghurst and Surry Hills.

There are a few brands which Coin Laundry associate with which take their fare up a notch. Notably, Allpress Coffee (incredible beans from NZ) now available in Oz, and a plethora of treats from Noisette at the front counter – the pastries that should be illegal (in a good way).

The staff are all extremely friendly, polite, good looking and male – coincidence? (We were wondering if this is a requirement in their recruitment policy). And the food is exceptional. We sampled the Coin Laundry Breakfast – a signature dish complete with perfectly poached eggs, bacon, spinach on sourdough with avocado, tomato and a beetroot relish ($16.00). We also tried the Corn and Manchego cheese fritters with a delicious tomato and cucmber salsa ($15.50). And none of it could’ve gone down without our Allpress Coffees of course!

Great, semi-private location + atmosphere with Allpress Coffee and delicious food = coins spent well. Indulge in the clean food at Coin Laundry today.
