We all like going to the city to its many cafes to get a good cup of coffee, but unfortunately often see a lot of homeless people living in the street too, thinking you wish you could help them out. Well, on August 10, you can make a difference and enjoy a nice cup of joe while you’re at it. It is the second annual CafeSmart Day where coffee roasters, cafes and coffee drinkers are all pitching in to raise money for the homeless by donating $1 of every coffee sold to helping those down on their luck.
WHEN: Friday 10 August
WHERE: various cafes (on website)
