Dr Martens Pop Up
Posted by Amy Leonard
20. Jun, 2014
Dr. Martens #standforsomething series has arrived in our stomping ground to provide Melbournians with the footwear to do just that, and boy do they know how to treat us right.
We love Dr Martens. We love pop ups. We love music. So it’s ticks right across the board for these guys then.
Not only have they brought us an exclusive pop up store, offering unique styles not to be found anywhere else in Australia, but they’ve kicked it off with three killer concerts in the iconic 18 Grey Street, St Kilda.
The former home of Sunset Bar, Tongue & Groove and Lulu White’s played host to local acts Stonefield and Kingsfield on Monday and Tuesday, culminating with the UK’s Band of Skulls on Wednesday.
Impressed yet? Limited edition shoes in a rocking venue not enough? OK fine then. Go check out the pop up and avail of complimentary Code Black coffee and hotdogs from the legends at Massive Weiners. Caffeine too? And free dogs? Just the cherry on top of a shoe-shaped cake.
The Australian Docs pop up shop is hanging around until Sunday folks, I wouldn’t miss it.
Opening hours:
Friday 11am – 7pm
Saturday-Sunday 11am – 5pm
