The Melbourne Festival Hub
Posted by Paul Drury
21. Oct, 2013
Melbourne Festival’s in full swing, and while it’s hard to keep track of the hundreds of shows and gigs one thing you should catch while you can is the Festival Hub. Think of it as a pop-up on steroids.
Now in its second year plopped by the banks of the Yarra, the Hub is the makeshift HQ for the fest. It’s als0 a pretty awesome outdoor space to have a beer by the river and take in some Spring rays. There’s also plenty of food and booze.
At any time there’s three food trucks in attendance including Bahn Mi Boys, Beatbox Kitchen, Chingon Taco Truck and Dude Food Man. Plus Victorian craft beers and a signature Festival hoppy brew from Boatrocker.
To sweeten the deal there’s a bunch of free and ticketed shows happening from now until the end of the festival, and free late night DJ sets. Our pick this week is Henry Wagons and Dexter.
