Space music with Forever Now

No – it’s not a Forever 21 or Forever New clothing sale. Forever Now is your chance to get into space – if you’re an audiovisual artist.
Following suit from NASA’s 1977 Voyager Golden Record, Melbourne based arts organistation Aphids is calling for works to be sent out into space on their own Golden Record. Are we the only ones picturing Bowie’s Space Oddity?
Launching via the project’s website on June 15, Forever Now will be a six month open call to artists to submit a one minute audiovisual piece. In the spirit of performance art, the finale will be a screening of the selected 44 works at next year’s MONA FOMA festival.
To get your chance at a shot in space visit the Aphids website in the lead up to the launch.
