The Scotch Malt Whisky Society

Put down your crafty ales and your fruity ciders – the next big thing coming our way is scotch malt whisky. Although for some it has never gone away.
The Scotch Malt Whisky Society, a fellowship of international whisky lovers are hosting an exclusive tasting on the 5 June to help Melburnians select their perfect dram and welcome in winter. Guests will sample a selection of once-in-a-lifetime whiskies, available exclusively for event guests and Society members.
As with all single cask whisky – once these rare bottles are gone, they’re gone for good. If you are a novice or have been warming the cockles of your heart for many a year, this tasting event will prove to be educational and entertaining for all participants.
The whisky evening will be held on Wednesday 5 June at the RACV Club.
Tickets available from www.smws.com.au or via 02 9974 3046. Bookings essential.
