Photographer of the week: Tamara Erbacher
Posted by Paul Drury
15. Mar, 2013
Tamara Erbacher picked up a camera a few years ago and, as she tells it, real life has looked more amazing since. The Melbourne photographer is fascinated by people and reckons capturing moments of lives in still images is a pretty good way to spend her time.
Tamara shoots candidly, so for portraits on big occasions like weddings she gives very little direction. “You just need to connect with the couple, get to know them, be genuine and they’ll feel comfortable with you; cheesy poses are a big no-no for me. Real emotion just can’t be orchestrated.”
Wise words.
