Photographers of the week: Bobby and Fiona

Bobby Aazami’s love of images was fostered at an early age in Iran after watching his first episode of The Six Million Dollar Man. After experimenting with music production and stand-up comedy Bobby eventually settled on photography, which he studied in Haifa, Israel.

Fiona Gohari first picked up a camera in her early teens, as her father taught her the basic principles of his Minolta SLR. Learning on film gave Fiona a solid appreciation of photography, but she tells us it was her writing that helped her tell stories through images.

Fiona and Bobby met working on an online photography project in March 2011. They married a year later and formed Fiona + Bobby Photography which, aside from specialising in weddings and portraits, proves that happy endings do happen.
