Out of the goodness of their hearts, Arts Centre Melbourne have brought on Riverside Live, a regular event on Friday evenings filled with live music, poetry slams curated by the Centre for Poetics and Justice, music-making workshops using iPads, public discussions with Melbourne’s most-loved artists, and dance classes.

Funk band The PutBacks will be performing each Friday to get everyone into weekend mode. The PutBacks have opened for top Aussie funk bands The Bamboos and Electric Empire, a fact in itself shows The PutBacks know how to put on a show. Each week The PutBacks will collaborate with different guest artists, making sure each week isn’t just a repeat of last week’s performance.

WHEN: Every Friday from Friday 5 October, 6pm-7pm
