‘It started as a rave, it ended in a riot’ is a lyric from French electro outfit Dirtyphonics single ‘Vandals’, and is pretty much what punters can expect when they perform at Brown Ally this July.
This five man outfit have been hailed as ‘the future of drum and bass’ by Knowledge Magazine and have remixed for some of the biggest names going around the electronic scene, such as Skrillex, Nero and The Bloody Beetroots.
Off the back of a massive world tour and with an album in the works, this is a show not to be missed for all the electro, dubstep and bass music fans out there.
Oh, and if you don’t believe me about the possibility of rioting (or more realistically, hardcore raving), check out this clip from their latest world tour. Looks like one hell of a party.
WHEN: Friday 6 July, 10pm-late
WHERE: Brown Alley, 585 Lonsdale Street, Melbourne
