Rolling Stones Retro Show

The legends of the Stones on tour are almost bigger than the band itself – fish used in unusual ways, Keith Richards snorting coke through scuba masks, and Mick Jagger chucking a wobbly. Plenty of sex and death too.

Someone who was there to see (and snap it) was E.HB. ‘Chip’ Monck, the grand daddy of stage lighting design who also hosted Woodstock.

Mock”s private collection from the Stone’s 1970 European tour is now on display in the ‘Backstage Pass’ exhibition at the Colour Factory, complete with memorabilia including letters and a pinball machine. Maybe some tight jeans and sticky fingers too.

WHEN: Until 28 April
WHERE: Colour Factory Gallery, 409 – 429 Gore Street Fitzroy
