The Melbourne Awards nominations now open

Do you know an individual or organisation that’s done something to make Melbourne that extra little bit special? If so, nominations for the 10th annual Melbourne Awards are now open.

There are three categories, which are open to individuals, community groups and corporations:

– Contribution to Profile, which last year saw epicurean celebrity Guy Grossi and the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival take home an award.

– Contribution to Sustainability, recently awarded to Grocon for the construction company’s striking ‘pixel’ building, a model of sustainable energy and water use.

– Contribution to Community, last year’s recipient was Major Brendan Nottle, for his commitment in assisting the people of Melbourne in a wide variety of community projects.

Perhaps you know someone, a community group or corporation who deserves a mention? We suggest you use your powers of persuasion to get them to send that form in by March 28th.
