Want to kick on for New Years Day but unsure of what’s open? Read on for an extensive list of who can provide you with the best hair of the dogs and hangover parmas. It’s all within reach – Sunday sessions, recovery bottomless brunch, all-you-can-eat wings and more.
Yarra Botanica – Sunday Session
Sandridge Bridge, Southbank
Yarra Botanica will be hosting a summer Sunday session with drink specials, specialty Spritz menus, snacks and a DJ on board from 2pm. Both bookings and walk-ins are welcome.
Village Belle Hotel – Recovery Bottomless Brunch
202 Barkly Street, St Kilda
Village Bell is kicking-off 2023 with two hours of bottomless Bloody Marys, Espresso Martinis, spritzes, wine and tap beer. Sliders, gyozas, bao buns, bruschetta and more are also on the menu to ease you into the new year. 12pm-2pm and tickets cost $70pp. Bookings are essential. Live music will also be on hand in the Garden Bar.
Harlow Bar – Hair of the Dog
447 Church St, Richmond
Harlow Bar is hosting the ultimate recovery Sunday session and pooches are welcome, with free dog treats for the pups. From 2pm – 6pm guests can order $15 Bloody Marys, Espresso Martinis and Tommy’s Margaritas.
BrewDog Pentridge – All-you-can-eat Wings
1 Champ St, Coburg
Hungry locals can order a $30 Schooner & All-You-Can-Eat chicken wings deal. There will also be cocktail specials available on the day, including a Loaded Bloody Mary.
Plenty of other venues will be open for business if you just need the pick-me-up.
