The news we’ve all been waiting for … ULTRA Australia is back! The leading electronic music festival has announced the date for its 2023 Australian edition, returning to the Sidney Myer Music Bowl and Kings Domain in Melbourne on Saturday, 15 April 2023.

Earlier this year, ULTRA Australia was the first large-scale event to welcome back internationally renowned talent to the country’s shores since the COVID pandemic began. The 2022 show was a massive success, delivering a full-scale event for more than 15,000 fans who enjoyed performances from EDM heavyweights like Afrojack, Alesso, Oliver Heldens, Steve Aoki, Deborah De Luca, Nicole Moudaber and more. The fourth edition of ULTRA Australia is sure to deliver a stacked line-up of
globe-trotting, chart-topping DJs and performers with more artists announcements coming soon.

ULTRA, which began on the sands of Miami beach in 1999 and has expanded worldwide in the 22 years since, has seen thousands of the world’s most iconic DJs and producers mesmerise audiences across all six continents. It first debuted in Australia as ‘Road to Ultra Australia’ in 2018 at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl, before returning the following year with events at Sydney’s Parramatta Park and Melbourne’s Flemington Racecourse. Events in both cities took place again in 2020. The end of summer extravaganza will expand its offerings in 2023 – ushering in an even bigger, more impressive multi-stage production with four separate areas; ULTRA’s spectacularly iconic mammoth Main Stage, the underground sounds at the Resistance Stage, the UMF Radio Stage – where Australia’s elite regional DJs will be showcased – and the introduction of the fourth stage dedicated to Hardstyle. ULTRA Australia takes pride in creating an all-encompassing entertainment experience for its fans from around the world. You’ll be able to revel in mesmerising routines from the ULTRA Angels, relax in the shaded ‘chill out’ zones, enjoy culinary delights from a vast array of local food trucks, and taste delicious cocktails from multiple bars stationed throughout the festival grounds.
