Declaring itself to being the best cafe in Richmond, Riché certainly delivers. Nestled on Bridge Road, between Lennox and Church Streets, you’ll find this eclectic cafe serving up the freshest vibes accompanied by tantalising food and drink options. Upon reopening this year, co-owners Alger Liu and Allen Goh’s mission has never been stronger with their ‘never-ending drive to invent and tailor beverages and food, offering the best Australian cuisine in Melbourne … Riché represents the richness in our food philosophy of giving brunch our own unique twist’.

After the year that has been, well, 2020, why not wake up in Paris or at least let your taste buds satiate in all the French goodness?! Riché’s stunning dish, titled, you guessed it, Wake up in Paris, will make your mouth water! With brioche French toast, seasonal fruits, meringue, orange chips, coconut gelato, crumble and chocolate ganache – tre magnifique! Or have you Had a Big Night this silly season? No really, have you? If not, hurry in to Riché and order one, it comes with chilli scrambled eggs, chorizo, fetta, soft herb, crispy shallots, house made chilli jam on multigrain toast. You’ll be spoiled for choice with a menu that speaks Melbourne brunch staples dotted with global influence, all inspired by Thai and Chinese traditional cuisine from head chef Thawat ‘Oat’ Prommachan. Majority of the dishes are also gluten free, vegan and/or dairy free. Winner!

Feeling thirsty? Riché has you covered with speciality coffee courtesy of Padre Coffee, paired with milk from St David Dairy. A plethora of other beverages are also on offer, from organic kombucha to healthy smoothies. You can’t go wrong with a Morning Glory, containing fresh ingredients such as granola, banana, natural yoghurt, honey, coconut water and coconut milk.

Aesthetically pleasing is an understatement for this revamped Richmond venue. With classy minimalist white interiors, including marble white table tops, this place oozes sophistication and screams Melbourne brunch scene. Delicate care and consideration with the food presentation will leave you salivating even longer as insta pics are a MUST at Riché (seriously, the artistry of these dishes is on a whole other level).

Something which needs to be added to everyone’s Christmas wish list this year is a dining experience at Riché.
