Looking to fill your belly and your glass this weekend? The East Malvern Food and Wine Festival will have you covered on Sunday 17 November. There’ll be wine, beer, food trucks, entertainment and locally sourced produce to take home with you.

Arrive with an empty stomach because you’ll be spoiled for choice with Melbourne’s favourite food trucks, local favourite restaurants and pop-up restaurant stalls like 48h Pizza & Gnocchi Bar, Mushiki Dumplings, Nepal Dining, The Greek Shop, The Smoke Pit and many, many more.

To wash it all down you’ll find over 20 wineries from the Victorian wine regions of Bendigo, Heathcote, Pyrenees, Yarra Valley, Rutherglen and Sutton Range, including wines from Innocent Bystander, Balgownie Estate, Silver Spoon Estate, Chambers Rosewood Vineyards, Linnaea Vineyards, The Farmer & The Scientist, Montalto, Buckshot Vineyard, Mount Avoca and more.

If beer is more your thing, you won’t go thirsty, with delicious craft beers from Bad Shepherd Brewing Co.: go for the Passionfruit Sour, you won’t be sorry! There’s also some super interesting drink options such as Darraweit Valley Cider, K.BOOCH Alcoholic Kombucha, Mr Blacks and Great Ocean Road Gin.

Bring your basket – not a single use plastic bag because it is National Recycling Week thank you very much – to fill up on festive-season fare from artisanal producers such as Cannings Free Range Butchery, Josh and Sue, In2Tea, Boondero Walnuts, Goldfields Farmhouse Cheese, Stick Balsamic, Blue Tree Honey Farm, The Meat Room and Olive Branch Preserves.

The event is free to enter. Wine tasting and masterclass tickets will be available on the day.  It’s all happening on Sunday 17 November 2019, 11am–5:30pm, at Central Park, Corner of Wattle Tree and Burke Roads, East Malvern.

Furry family members are welcome, too.
