Fitzroy tiki bar The LuWow isn’t just the closest you’ll get to a South Pacific beach in Melbourne, it’s also the place to get cheap rum on a Wednesday night, which is sort of almost as good as a trip to the beach.

Every Wednesday the cocktail-clad staff will whip you up something with from one of 50 rip-roaring rums at half price, which means you can build up your collection of cocktail umbrellas quite nicely.
