Fitzroy tiki bar The LuWow isn’t just the closest you’ll get to a South Pacific beach in Melbourne, it’s also the place to get cheap rum on a Wednesday night, which is sort of almost as good as a trip to the beach.
Every Wednesday the cocktail-clad staff will whip you up something with from one of 50 rip-roaring rums at half price, which means you can build up your collection of cocktail umbrellas quite nicely.
WHEN: Every Wednesday
WHERE: The LuWow, 62 – 70 Johnston Street, Fitzroy
We catch up with James Smith from The Crafty Pint to get the inside goss to Good Beer Week 2013.
Hatted chef Harry Lilai dishes up big Italian flavours and massive servings at his historic Fitzroy pub.
Pop up artists and bean brew-masters: Clark St Roasters are at it again.
Self-taught artist tohm has dedicated his second exhibition to nothing but the colour black. A dark event indeed.
Tea and Sympathy are holding a tea and cheese pairing afternoon tea where you will get to learn about where these treats come from.
Come and toast the new book Borsch, Vodka and Tears: Food to Drink With at its launch at Bar 303.
