Melburnians, #environmentallyfriendly is currently trending and we couldn’t be more excited! More and more, businesses are pushing themselves to create products and conduct services that are ethical and eco-friendly. Introducing Bat Your Lash: a Melbourne-based dog-friendly salon challenging wastage in the beauty industry.

Tucked away on Melbourne’s Greville Street is an urban oasis. Bat Your Lash’s ethos is beauty with intent, having transformed over two years to become waste-free, eco-friendly, vegan and toxic-free. ‘The beauty industry is full of wastage and from the moment I started researching, I realised I needed to change our salon’s habits to create a space that delivered beauty with intent; a space that was not only safe for customers but also safe for the earth,’ explains owner Nadia Eizadi. She adds, ‘I always felt, why live a life hurting others and the planet if you don’t need to?’

Stocked with high-quality Australian products that deliver amazing results, Bat Your Lash provides a relaxing experience for customers that truly nourishes both physically and mentally. With a focus on clients loving themselves, the planet and animals, every aspect of the salon has been carefully curated to reduce its impact on the environment. From copper bowls at the pedicure stations, bamboo mascara wands and eco-friendly washing liquids, to a tight recycling policy and toxic-free nail polishes – every part of the process is a deliberate and thoughtful act.

Inclusivity is a priority of Bat Your Lash. They have responded to the needs of all people, creating a boutique that welcomes any race, religion, lifestyle or gender. For instance, nail polish by Sienna is breathable and water permeable; great for nail health, but also making it suitable for people of Muslim faith.

Bat Your Lash has a professional, qualified team offering a range of services including: Eyelash Extensions, Henna Brows, Manicures & Pedicures, Waxing & Threading, and Makeup.

Check out Bat Your Lash for a beauty experience that leaves you looking, feeling and doing good.
