After producing and working with a number of international artists and performers over the last 12 years, Northside artist Dominic Taranto’s newest show Moments will be his largest show to date.  Held at the sleek No Vacancy Gallery nestled near QV, this visual art show is one to catch this winter.

Growing up as a child of the big screen, it was inevitable that film and literature would influence Taranto’s creativity and this show is an acknowledgement of those talented writers and cinematographers.

‘Abstract interpretations of influential cinematography that has inspired his creative process throughout the years. Much like Corners focused on Dominic’s abstract impressionistic favourites, now he turns to classic and modern film focusing on multiple genres to inspire a whole new body of large scale work. All the while keeping his colourful, geometric and abstract style.’

I can’t wait to attend the opening and feature an interview with Dominic. Watch this space!
