The Alliance Française Film Festival returns in 2017 and is set to dominate Melbourne with all its majesty and splendour with hundreds of screenings at six different cinemas from Wednesday, 8 March to XXX, 30 March. The tantalising feast of cinema showcases the artistic superiority of contemporary French cinema.

The 2017 programme is brimming with highlights and with 45 films to select, there is something for everyone. Milk Bar Mag would love to reward devoted Francophiles by giving away 10 FREE double passes to the film festival!

Don’t miss your chance to watch It’s Only the End of the World, directed by the excellent Xavier Dolan, winning the Grand Prize of the Jury at 2016 Cannes Film Festival or Elementary, a film that is packed with ‘destabilising and overwhelming realism’ and tells the story of a teacher whose torn between her passion for her students and love for her child.
