Urban. Environment. Culture.
Imagine a world more connected, inspired and supported to work towards positive urban, social and environmental change. We have our eyes set on defining this new paradigm, driving a dialogue that motivates civic action and engages communities in the areas of sustainable and urban development. Help us in connecting ideas for change, by sharing your thoughts and experiences with us, so we can pass on your ideas to those in need.
This is the principle of Affix Magazine, an independent start-up publication based in Melbourne that focuses on urban design, planning, sustainable development, inspiring people and diverse communities. The founding Editor, Abbie Freestone, has built the magazine from the ground up and is looking forward to celebrating the launch of the magazine this coming Friday, July 31st.
The event is free of charge and is being held in collaboration with Idea Bombing Melbourne, a community brainstorming chapter that focuses on generating ideas and conversation around issues of interest for the benefit of the wider Melbourne community. The event will take place at L1 Studios on Little Bourke Street in Melbourne CBD, and bookings can be made via the Eventbrite page.
Affix Magazine will be available on a biannual basis, in both print and digital throughout 2015.
