British Film Festival And My Mistress Giveaways

Who doesn’t like going to the movies? The big screen, the darkness, the snacks; what a top night. It’d be even better if it was free, wasn’t it? Well, Milk Bar Mag would like to giveaway passes for some great upcoming movies. Brand new movies, for free. What’s not to like?

The first lot of passes are for the British Film Festival. You read that correctly; passes to not just one movie, but a whole festival of them! If you like all things British, then this is for you. You’re really spoiled for choice; there’s the World War I drama Testament Of Youth, and also World War II thriller The Imitation Game (let’s hope there isn’t a World War III movie anytime soon!). The festival launches on November 5th and concludes on November 26th. (These passes exclude special events, but don’t let that worry you).

But if you would prefer something more local (and by local, we mean a movie filmed on the Gold Coast), then we also have passes for the upcoming Aussie drama My Mistress. It tells the kinky tale of a young boy tormented by his crumbling family, and finding his only solace with a local dominatrix that hires him as her gardener, and from there becomes a dark, twisted romance. You could think of it as an Australian version of 50 Shades Of Grey (but don’t let that put you off); check out the trailer for yourself below.
