Pimp My Pizza 2014

TV shows like Master Chef make wannabe chefs compete against each other by cooking up all sorts of meals, usually those lame, tiny dishes that barely counts as food for human consumption. What ever happened to a good old fashioned pizza? A big, tasty pizza that not only tastes great, but fills you right up?

The folks at Pimp My Pizza have known for ages that the magic of pizza, unlike most other foods, is that you can mix and match toppings and you get very crazy combinations of food. But this year the decision will be decided in combat of the munching variety. Renown Melbourne bars Bimbo Deluxe and Lucky Coq will be pitting their ace pizzas against each other to see who will reign “supreme” (sorry, couldn’t help myself).

On this night, guests will get the chance to taste the limited editon pizza – a slice of all five finalists’ winning pizzas on one pizza base – for just $5 and you get to vote who wins. Think of all the different pizzas you’ll get to have, your taste buds will be in heaven and won’t know what to do with themselves afterwards!

All proceeds will go to a charity of the finalist’s choosing. Eating pizza, for charity. What’s not to like?
