The Lunchbox at Classic Cinemas

Who doesn’t love a romance? Pair it with food and drink and we’re on to a winner. And that’s what Classic Cinemas is giving us the opportunity for this week.
Escape Melbourne’s murky winter for an evening with a gourmet cinema event in celebration of the launch of The Lunchbox, an incredibly gentle new Indian romantic comedy directed by Ritesh Batra.
It is a story that starts simply, the wrong delivery of a lunch, and evolves in to much more. A visual feast as well as wry and comic, Batra has created a realistic and sentimental film unconventional of most Bollywood films.
So that your bellies get as much action as your eyes, Classic Cinemas is providing a scrumptious celebration of mouth-watering food to coincide with the film’s opening night.
This Thursday have your very own Mumbai dining experience transported to you at Classic, with Indian finger foods provided by Tiffins Melbourne and a drink to unwind with.
