National Trust Annual Vintage Clothing Sale
Posted by Glennise Pinili
13. Mar, 2014
There will be plenty to rummage through and call dibs on at the National Trust’s ultimate annual vintage clothing sale.
Labels such as Chanel, Dior, Ferragamo and Hardy Amies will be fashionably affordable—ranging from a thrifty $10-$40. An eclectic range of quality designer garments, millinery, accessories, menswear and haberdashery will all be on sale.
Shop through fashion history and revamp your wardrobe, with truly vintage pieces dating back from the 1900s, up until the 90s. For the crafty creatives there will be a millinery salon organised.
Fittingly, the sale will be at South Yarra’s historic Como House where boutique outfitters will be setup in the ballroom.
All items are donated by locals, and sales proceeds will go to the upkeep and display of the National Trust’s garments in its costume collection.
Saturday 15 & Sunday 16 March, 10:00am – 4:00pm |
Como House and Garden, cnr Lechlade Avenue and Williams Road, South Yarra Gold coin donation admission For more info visit www.nationaltrust.org.au/vic/ or www.comohouse.com.au |
