For the very first time, the Night Noodle Markets will debut in Melbourne as part of The Age’s Good Food Month. Held over two weeks in November, the Night Noodle Markets will see Alexandra Gardens transformed into a dynamic hawker-style Asian market consisting of over 20 food stalls and bars.

With the last sister event in Sydney bringing in over 200,000 visitors, expect similar numbers in Melbourne. Local restaurants features include Chin Chin, Longrain, Izakaya Den and Mamak. Be prepared to start off your journey with freshly baked roti, followed by dumplings before being transported to Vietnam for duck pancakes and whisked away for Thai desserts, with a bit of sake on the side.
