Real Hot Bitches

Embracing the spanking hot attire and overall awesomeness of 80s music with sequin covered arms; Real Hot Bitches take their love of the outrageous genre and get their buns into gear – literally. School Dance’s The Warm Up as part of the Melbourne Comedy Festival 2013 is set to be so hot you’ll have to wear shades, legwarmers, g-tards, glitter and lycra.

More is more says Head Bitch Mistress Teleesheah Sunrize. “Why wear one leotard when you can wear eight?”

With their look solidly glued and tucked into place, this too-hot troupe will stretch and pelvic thrust to some of the genre’s great and not so great, with “bitchpiration” summoned from the likes of Madonna, Def Leopard and Kiss.

As neon spandex flies amuck, air guitar in full swing and hair bounces to the beat, you would hope this hot mess was generated from a magical place where unicorns and leprechauns live. If you want to find out more you’re in luck! Newbies are welcome to channel their inner bitch as no coordination or dance experience is required for their open practices; teaching stuff like Bitching Basics and Bitchersize.

Their motto, says Sunrize, is whatever you lack in technique, you make up for in passion. Words to dance by.

Catch the Real Hot Bitches in the act nightly at Playhouse Stalls Foyer in School Dance’s The Warm Up from Wed 10 – Sat 20 April before the main performance.
