Grab your feather boa and slip on those fishnet tights because The Famous Spiegeltent is back in town. Tantalising audiences around the world since the 1920s, this all-singing, all-dancing extravaganza is ready to raise the roof at the Melbourne Arts Centre from February 5 until  mid April.

With over 80 shows on offer it’s as hard as a double backflip to figure out what exotic gathering to shimmy on down to, so let us make it a bit easier for you by highlighting some of our faves.

Jazz High Tea, Feb 8 – April 21
Let the swinging beats of some of Australia’s most talented jazz musicians accompany a luxurious afternoon high tea at the Jazz High Tea. Kit yourself out in your Sunday finest and fill your bellies with fresh brewed tea and coffee, sparkling wine and an amazing spread of delicious treats.
Tickets from $80, vegetarian and gluten free options available.

The Famous Opera Supper Club with Antoinette Halloran
Known as the naughty girl of the opera world, Antoinette Halloran has been shaking up the stuffy reputation of opera with her new brand of diva, revealing the soft and fragile side beneath the pompous exterior. Halloran brings her sensual touch to the Famous Opera Supper Club in her new show with songs of desire, lust and longing.
Tickets $50 and include a scrumptious supper.

Lior with Gian Slater and Invenio, March 1 -3
Singer-songwriter Lior’s unique sound has been described as breathtaking, and he’s bringing his music to Spiegel for a limited time. With the help of vocalist and composer Gian Slater and her innovative vocal ensemble ‘Inverio’, Lior will be performing a selection of songs from his three highly acclaimed albums. A performance not to be missed.
Tickets from $46.

Katie Noonan Love Song Circus, March 19-24
Former George front-woman and songbird Katie Noonan is collaborating with a star circus troupe directed by Yaron Lifschitz to present Love-Song-Circus.
