Whisky Bar: pOp uPstairs

For those of you who didn’t know, whisky bar Chez Regine is closed for renovations, and is due to reopen in February under the name Whisky + Alement. In the meantime, a new establishment has arrived to quench your cravings for dark liquor of the premium variety.
pOp uPstairs is located above cafe/bar Rue Bebelons, and serves as a temporary lodging for the currently displaced staff and stock of Chez Regine. Open only on Thursdays and Friday’s for the next few weeks, it makes up for the relative smaller breadth of its menu by offering patrons a curated selection of whiskeys from a different region of Scotland each night.
Like its larger counterpart, the prices at pOp uPstairs are not prohibitively expensive, enabling you to sample a number of top shelf brands without inflicting too much damage to your finances. Even if you don’t consider yourself an expert, the friendly staff will be more than happy to point you in the right direction.
