The Red Eyes – Final Show

The Red Eyes are a dub/reggae outfit who are playing their final ever show this Saturday at the Corner Hotel.
Forming in 2002, this seven piece outfit have reached critical independant acclaim with their 2010 album, Red Army, gaining the Best Blues & Roots Album for the Aussie Independent Music Labels Awards. They combine heartfelt lyrics with deep dub grooves and beats to create they describe as a “unique antipodean spin on the broad (r)eggae genre.”
They will be supported by Ngaiire and DJ A13, and are fronted by dazzling singer El Witeri, who was a finalist in the 2011 APRA songwriter’s catagory.
