Sweet Oriander is the culmination of a five year creative collaboration between Fiona Sweet of Sweet Creative and Garth Oriander, a photographer.
The exhibition shows images made for the Malthouse Theatre during the tenure of artistic directors Michael Kantor and Stephen Armstrong, who were both involved in the collaborative process.
Often shot in the early stages of each production’s development and before costumes and sets had been finalised, these images were taken to capture the true essence of the each show.
Featuring some of Australia’s most well known performers, profits from the images sold at the exhibition will be donated to the Victorian Actors’ Benevolent Trust www.vabt.com.au
WHEN: Tuesday 25 September – Saturday 6 October
WHERE: FortyFive Downstairs, 45 Flinders Lane, Melbourne
