How far would you go for love? Well, in the case of Koo Wee Rup, dairy farm girl Aisha, it would be transforming herself into one of Japan’s first foreign Geishas!

When Aisha finds out her fiancé Craig, from Nar Nar Goon, has run off with a Japanese girl on a footy trip in Tokyo, she sets off on a pilgrimage to win him back. Enrolling in a Tokyo Geisha school, Aisha begins her journey on the way to becoming one of Japan’s most celebrated Geishas.

Memoirs of an Aisha, a brand new musical comedy, features at this year’s Melbourne Fringe Festival for a six night run from the 26th of September.

It’s a love story as hot as wasabi!

WHEN: Wednesday 26 September to Monday 1 October, 7:00pm (Wed – Sat), 8:30pm (Sunday) or 6:30pm (Monday)
WHERE: Rue Bebelons, 267 Little Lonsdale Street, Melbourne
