No Era @ Horse Bazaar

No Era is a monthly night that flexes Melbourne’s top producers and DJs for you to kick it to. The night takes place in the intimate and stylish surroundings of Horse Bazaar, a nifty little joint up Little Lonsdale Street.

No Era has a similar fusion of music of such nights as Uncomfortable Beats and Glitch This!, with its blend of urbanised glitch, hip-hop and dub related sounds. You’ll often see a couple of the guys who play on the line-up at the same sort of parties; nights like this are established as a branch of Melbourne’s contemporary take on cutting-edge, dancefloor-related beats.

These nights are the best for club-style music, as far as I’m concerned, cause you want to be able to dance on a friday night out, but you don’t your groove put off by cheesy RnB and crappy top 40 hits, right? I hope so.

This month’s producers and DJs are DJ Sizzle, Baxter Blvd and Ghostsoul. Entry is free.
