University of Melbourne Architecture Professor Miles Lewis will be presenting a lecture covering the more obscure aspects of Victorian interior decoration, including papier mâché and Rottman Strome embossed wallpapers.

Taking place in the opulent surroundings of the Johnston Collection, this is sure to appeal to the aesthetically inclined, and would be a good excuse as any for those interested to also check out the extensive antique collection on display.

Bookings are essential, as since the collection is in a residential area, visitors are instead picked up from a nearby location by a courtesy bus.
