Youth Lagoon @ The Corner Hotel

After a sell out tour of Australia in February and proving a huge draw at SXSW, Youth Lagoon aka Trevor Powers returns to Melbourne as part of the Splendour in the Grass sideshows.
His debut album “The Year of Hibernation” was a blogosphere sensation, nominated as one of Pitchfork’s Top 50 albums of 2011, and its songs feature regularly on Hype Machine’s “Popular” playlists.
Since then, Youth Lagoon’s dreamy bedroom recordings have literally reverberated themselves around the world, resulting in a busy touring schedule.
Youth Lagoon plays in Melbourne for one night only, at the Corner Hotel, with support acts Thrupence and Sures.
