This brave four day examination looks right into the guts of how we view spirituality and religion, with these days and times in mind. It is a first series of its kind, promoted by the Wheeler Centre.
These sort of grounds will be no easy task to cover simply and will be curated by prominent philosopher and author, Raimond Gaita. International guest speakers include American theologian Stanley Hauerwas, Qur’anic expert Asma Barlas, multiculturalism advocate Tariq Modood, the Einstein Forum’s Susan Neiman and Middle East commentator Bernard Avishai. Locals include Justice Susan Crennan, Archbishop of Melbourne Philip Freier and author and activist Arnold Zable.
