Friday Lunch at Mission to Seafarers

If you haven’t been to the Mission to Seafarers yet, perhaps the promise of food will draw you to one of Melbourne’s most interesting spaces. The distinctive dome shaped mission is full of great features such as a maritime-themed chapel (complete with bow shaped pulpit), the Norla Dome, which used to be a gymnasium and is now a gallery, and most importantly, a bar made of corks that still has 70s prices.

Every Friday the Mission is putting on an hot lunch. For $12 you get  a mixed plate of two meat and veg options, plus rice and homemade roti. Worth the price alone for checking out this cracker of a building.
