With winter approaching, Melbourne’s newest outdoor cinema will soon be closing for the year, but they want to bid farewell to 2012 with some top flicks. Beginning tonight with fashion doco Bill Cunningham New York and the intense Drive, the Shadow Electric will then show not one but two Stanley Kubrick classics, Dr Strangelove and The Shining, David Lynch’s Lost Highway, and the Coen Brothers’ much loved The Big Lebowski.

If this selection doesn’t please movie buffs, then nothing will.
