Let the Beer Run Free at Fed Square

Today it’s going to be 26C, tomorrow’s tipping 28C, which means you’ll have a hard earned thirst, and a hard earned thirst needs a good cold beer, the best cold beer is…craft.
This Wednesday sees the twice-yearly Microbrewery Showcase return to Fed Square, a glorious event where microbreweries from around the state come together over two days to spruik, serve and chat about everyone’s favourite topic, beer. It’s kind of like Willy Wonka’s Factory for boozers, sans the guy in the purple suit and Oompa Loompas.
They’ll be everything from amber ales to dark and stormy saisons from 20 craft brewers including Mountain Goat, Kooinda, 2 Brothers and a heap of others I haven’t heard of, but will to get to know.
If the idea of all that beer under one roof on a sunny afternoon doesn’t whet your whistle, maybe this will.
