Green Cup: Limited edition Sam Wood smoothie and acai bowl range

The weather is heating up, the days are longer, and Melbourne is abuzz with its spring-summer excitement and glow. These are optimal conditions to consume and devour a decadent and healthy super smoothie or acai bowl. Fortunately, Green Cup is here to please. Launching in November, Green Cup has teamed with health and fitness enthusiast Sam Wood – and former Bachelor star – to launch a limited-edition new smoothie and acai bowl range.

Available at any of Green Cup’s six locations in Carlton, Caulfield, South Yarra, Hawthorn, Armadale and Melbourne CBD (Wesley Place), the November Specials are packed full of flavour and are bursting with colour. I would definitely recommend the Choc PB Protein Smoothie, a rich smoothie of cacao, chocolate protein, date, peanut butter, maca, avocado, banana and almond milk. If you need a hit of caffeine during the day try the delicious and oh-so-fulfilling Caramel Coffee Protein Smoothie, which contains all the good stuff: peanut butter, cinnamon, maca, salted caramel, protein, cold brew coffee, banana and almond milk. When it comes to acai bowls, there’s Sam’s Protein Punch Bowl, composed of acai blended with banana and vanilla protein and topped with granola, blueberries, strawberries, desiccated coconut, banana and passionfruit. Very summery indeed! Otherwise, there’s Sam’s Berry Good Bowl, which is topped with raspberry chia jam, Greek yoghurt, granola, buckinis and strawberries.

Ideal for a healthy, super-charged breakfast, brunch, lunch or mid-day snack, Green Cup has you covered. The O.G. range features all the usual suspects. Expect to see a PB and J Bowl, a Nutella Bowl, the Green Queen (spinach, peanut butter, blueberries, banana, spirulina, chia, maca, vanilla, collagen and almond milk) or the refreshing Green Detox (spinach, cucumber, chia, mint, lemon, apple, pineapple, filtered h20). Milk Bar visited the Melbourne CBD store, located on Lonsdale Street, and is exclusively takeaway. There are nearby seats and benches to lounge. While predominantly aimed at the takeaway market, some Green Cup venues do have some small seating space. The Carlton venue on Faraday Street has 10 seats inside and six outside in the sun.

Build Green Cup into your daily ritual of health and self-care. You won’t regret it.
