Summer is officially here! NGV has released their full summer lineup for NGV Friday Nights, announcing three-time Grammy award nominee Nai Palm as their headliner for Opening Night on December 16th.

With NGV’s next exhibition Alexander McQueen: Mind, Mythos, Muse opening on December 11th, the full lineup of music is inspired by both McQueen’s dramatic designs and the vibe and essence of the late 90s London scene. Joining Nai Palm over the course of the 18-week summer run will include local and international acts such as Electric Fields, Kee’ahn, Banoffee and Billy Davis.

As well as the fantastic music on show, Friday-Nighters will also have the pleasure of strolling through a hundred pieces of Alexander McQueen’s iconic garments and historical artworks including paintings, sculptures, photography and decorative arts revealing the myriad reference points that influenced his designs. The NGV Garden will also come alive with live DJ sets in the NGV Architecture Commission: Temple of Boom, The Moët Champagne Terrace Bar will be serving up the finest champers, and if that is not quite up your alley, Four Pillars Gin Bar will be serving only the best gin and cocktails. For the avid NGVFNers, clear your weekends, because the lineup is going to keep your summer jam-packed.
