Happy World Pizza Day! Whether you’re munching on a slice of cold pizza for breakfast or have an epic pizza party lined up for dinner, there’s no denying that what binds us together is a love for anything that can be described as thin crust or deep dish. Joining in on the festivities is McCain and their game-changing McCain Rustica Sourdough pizza range, which is available in-stores from February.

A much-loved household brand, McCain’s line of pizzas have been crafted based on a wholesome notion: beautifully simple: the way good pizza should be. The much-loved household brand have given significant consideration from carefully sourcing high-quality ingredients to perfecting the sourdough base.

Proudly made in Australia with no artificial colours or flavours, the McCain Rustica Sourdough pizzas come in three artisan flavours: Salami & Four Cheese, Tuscan Style Meatballs and Smoked Ham & Aged Cheddar.

The crowd-pleasing Salami is topped with finely sliced salami, fragrant pesto and a blend of aged cheddar, mozzarella, provolone and Parmesan cheeses. Allow the aromas of oregano and thyme meatballs take over as you devour a slice of the Tuscan and transport yourself to a beautiful sandstone villa in an Italian summer. And lastly – and our favourite – is the don’t-knock-it-to-you-try-it Smoked Ham. The pizza is adorned with double smoked ham, cremini mushrooms, bites aged cheddar and McCain’s signature caramelised onion relish. Sometime’s simple is good!

As 2020 and the COVID lockdown showed us, creating a momentous night at home is crucial, and now your night just got a whole lot better with McCain’s Rustica range. Head down to the freezer aisle at Woolworths or your local Independent supermarket from February, and Coles from June. Each pizza is $8.

Ah McCain – you’ve done it again!
