The Melbourne Fringe Festival is set to be a celebration of art by the people, for the people, with the people. With events developed to embrace the diversity of art and the spirit of independent thought and self-expression, it is impossible to scroll through the program and not find at least several items to tickle your fancy.

If you’re a language lover, a dance devotee or a supporter of all things South American, the Melbourne Festival Argentino is filled with sensational events.

Running from Thursday September 22nd through until Sunday September 25th and taking place across four iconic Melbourne buildings – Parliament House, the State Library of Victoria, Collingwood Town Hall and Fitzroy Town Hall – the festival will celebrate the music, dance, people, poetry and history that makes the country of Argentina so remarkable and romantic.

Highlights of the festival will include the One Night in Buenos Aires Stage Spectacular, an epic production of raw, sophisticated dance and music which is expected to set the floor on fire. The Collingwood Town Hall will be filled colour, music and vibrant energy as this event is immediately followed by the Gala Milonga Dance Party, where guests will be invited to join the Melbourne Tango underground movement in a celebration of the traditional tango dance.

A full Festival passed can be purchased at a cost of $380 to enjoy all 7 events, as well as a number of combination packages to get the most immersive experience possible.
