Rustica Hawthorn

Branching out to the east, the Rustica bakery-café group has added a new addition to their line of cafés in Melbourne. Joining Rustica Café in Fitzroy and Rustica Canteen in the CBD, the newest addition in Hawthorn has allowed the name to reach the wider community.
With modern music and full-length windows, the Rustica Hawthorn creates a warm and unique vibe, inviting all inside. The open kitchen and friendly staff allow customers to feel welcomed, and with the added feature of live plants inside, it creates a fresh feeling when you walk in.
The cakes in the counter catch your eye when you first walk through the door and range from coffee coco cronuts to vanilla cream donuts, immediately making your choice a difficult one. Starting with the brunch menu, the vanilla yoghurt panna cotta with figs, strawberries and house granola is a great light dish to have, if you aren’t feeling overly hungry. If you are after an egg option, the eggs benedict with pulled pork is a good choice, especially if you like a little bit of spice added to your eggs. If you’re after a slightly bigger meal, go for the slow roasted lamb shoulder, with a range of different ingredients to top it off in a demi baguette — you won’t want to stop eating until your plate is clean. For dessert, the chocolate cherry mud cake is a rich dish to end your experience at Rustica, leaving a sweet taste in your mouth. You’ll want to share this one with a friend or take it home, because you will want to share and saviour the taste for as long as you can.
Rustica has everything you need when it comes to eating out. I’d recommend taking the pumpkin sourdough home with you, to have a taste of Rustica in your very own home.

Somewhere Else video sings of summer
It almost sounds like the premise of a reality TV show: pile a bunch of artists in a bus for seven days, send them across Mexico and see what happens.
