Il Forno

It seems Lygon Street gets all the glory for having Melbourne’s best cafes and restaurants, but it looks like Chapel Street is trying to give it some competition. new Italian restaurant in South Yarra, just off Chapel Street (okay, so it’s technically not on Chapel Street, but whatevs).
The menu’s excellent, from all the different types of pizzas (classic woodfire ones naturally), pastas, antipastos and everything else Italian. Yum yum! But Il Forno also has an excellent bar full of great cocktails and an outdoor area, so you can go outside with a coldie while enjoying a slice of pollo pizza.
Bon appetit!
